Deli style! Open 10:AM to 7:PM. Mon thru Fri. Low key, kind of a secret, Lots of fresh fish, great big burgers, huge portions, easy in and out. lots of friendly local folk call 879-9355 for directions.
Costco in Kahului
Groceries,booze, meat, etc. can be hellishly expensive on Maui. When you first get off da plane, just a couple blocks from the airport hit costco! Pick up booze bread meat and anything else you can find. Gas up there when returning your rent a car on the way out.

Live music, good food and a very local clientel . Happy hour is great! Best bartender on earth.
Stella Blues in Kihei
Run! Prickly, pricey and phony. Food inconsistent, breakfasts are burned and cold, staff the same. They can make sure you know you don't belong there. Nothing Stella blues about it.
Longhis reswtaurant in Wailea or Lahaina
EXCELLENT! a bit pricey but staff and quality of food and service make up for it. Top notch!
